We understand that facilities on a military establishment have different priorities to those in the civilian world.

Our Defence team’s established track record in the sector comes from providing professional services for the Ministry of Defence and Defence Estates (United States Forces) for more than 15 years. We’ve successfully completed over 300 diverse commissions on military sites, ranging from refurbishing living accommodation and building new catering facilities to constructing missile stores and hangars.

As well as offering you specialist technical knowledge, we are experienced in the security requirements of working on military establishments. So we’re familiar with the operational procedures which impact the design of the buildings and the civil engineering facilities where they are carried out.

We currently hold a number of major advisory commissions on the most significant and strategic defence contracts recently awarded, including:

• Corsham PFI – Independent Certifier
• MoD Northwood HQ – Independent Certifier
• MoD Allenby/Connaught – Independent Tester
• Catterick Forward – Management and Programming Team
• DE Regional Prime Contract (Central) – Principal Support Provider
• DE Project SLAM – Principal Support Provider.

In addition, we hold an overseas commission to support UK forces in Sovereign bases, training areas and in theatre. We are also completing works under separate arrangements to Defence Estates (USF) in the UK.

Having worked on buildings which help house and train Navy, Air Force and Army personnel, we are perfectly placed to advise you on design and construction under military restrictions.
