Information and Communication Technology Services (ICTS)
In one of the most densely populated areas in the country, Wolverhampton City Council is constantly striving to offer the best of services to a highly diverse and culturally developed community. An integral part of the Council's ability to deliver rests with its Information and Communications Technology Services (ICTS) department, which supports some 4000 diverse users situated at more than 650 locations across the City.
Our chosen core applications focus around: Northgate iWorld (Benefits, Local Taxes, Housing), OLM Care First and also includes Open Text, Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS), Business Objects and .net.
The core technologies are: Oracle, Sun Solaris, Net App, VM Ware, Cisco, Alcatel, Exchange, SQL Server, Bakbone NetVault, and Windows.
