Job Description:
With direct involvement with the Board, Chief Executive and other Directors
this position also provides an effective Deputy support role to the Chief
Executive post. The role offers a chance to develop the business planning
function within the Group as well as managing the provision of a full
range of financial services to the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management and development of the finance and IT teams (16 staff)
- Managing the Groups financial affairs within Financial Regulations
- Review and revise risk management strategy
- Participate fully as a member of the Executive team
- Develop, review and revise business plans
- Project co-ordination and management
Candidate Specification:
Applicants for this role will need to display experience of senior financial
management within a diverse organisation, including long term financial
and business planning, an ability to innovate and identify development
opportunities and have the communication skills required to work as part
of a multi disciplinary management team. Your experience could have been
gained in the private, public or "not for profit" sector as
long as you are able to offer strategic planning skills and a positive
approach to business development. Full accounting qualification is an
essential criteria for this post.
