This appointment offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement the legal strategy for the University. This is a role of key strategic importance and will involve you working closely with the University’s Senior Executive Team. In addition to undertaking a comprehensive review of the University’s legal services, you will provide leadership for all legal activities, including contractual arrangements, litigation, legal risk and management of external legal advisers.
You should be a solicitor or barrister with demonstrable experience in operating at partner
or senior counsel level. With credibility and gravitas, your role will be to act as trusted
adviser to the key stakeholders, promoting the objectives of the University whilst delivering
strong leadership and inspiring and motivating those around you.
