Biobank Assessment Centre Locations

Over the next three years Assessment Centres will be opened to carry out blood and urine tests on study participants. Locations include:

Liverpool
London
Nottingham
Bristol
Newcastle upon Tyne
Reading
Leeds

Opening later this year:

Middlesborough
Birmingham
Swansea
Sheffield

Assessment Centre Opening Hours

Each Assessment Centre will see up to 120 participants per day and will be operational 6 days per week.

Monday to Friday         8.00am – 8.00pm
Saturday                      8.00am – 8.00pm

Assessment Centre activities will be supported by two teams each comprising 1 Clinic Manager, 2 Receptionists, 4 Nurses and 7 Physical Measurement and Phlebotomy Technicians.

The working pattern will be shifts of up to 12 hours x 3 days (36 hours) covering daytime, evenings and weekends.  Full-time roles are preferable, but some part-time roles may be available.

These positions are available on a temporary basis as each Assessment Centre will be open for a minimum of 6 months. However, there may be opportunities to extend work on the study thereafter.
