Recognising the vital role that temporary and contract workers play at UBS, Hays Professional Recruitment works in partnership with UBS to provide skilled individuals to undertake many short and long-term projects. The dedicated on-site Hays team will provide ongoing support for those individuals working in a temporary or contract capacity within UBS. Through our Talent Resourcing team, Professional Recruiting generates and maintains a database of candidates who have been sourced exclusively for roles at the firm. A searchable candidate database of individuals who have expressed an interest in working at UBS in various roles is actively maintained. Whether you’re a working holiday maker looking for valuable exposure to add to your CV, or a professional contractor wanting to enhance your financial services experience, Professional Recruiting will be able to assist you in obtaining a position within UBS. The Professional Recruiting desk looks after the temporary workforce at UBS. The team is your first point of contact for all temporary and contract vacancies at UBS and any work-related queries while you’re at the firm. This includes any liaison with external recruitment consultancies if you’ve been placed at the firm by an agency Each division of UBS has its own dedicated consultant to assist you with any queries you may have during your time as a temp at UBS. By typing ‘temps’ into a new web browser, you can also access all key information about the professional recruiting team, as well as completing your on timesheets through the on-line ‘Workflow’ system. When you start work you'll be asked to attend the ‘Temporary and contractors compliance induction’, where you will meet representatives of the on-site team, and receive an information pack providing an overview of UBS, its activities and values. This will include documents covering compliance and security clearance and relevant visa declarations. You'll also be set up on Workflow, the Hays Specialist Recruitment payroll system and have the timesheet process explained thoroughly in order to ensure that you may be paid correctly and on time. As you near the end of your assignment, the Talent Resourcing team are on hand to provide advice and discuss other opportunities within UBS with you. However, as we value your feedback, should you decide to leave, or if no opportunities are available at that time, the Professional Recruitment team will ask you to attend an exit interview.
