
The city now named Stoke-on-Trent was officially born on the 31st March 1910, with the Federation of the Six Towns. A lot has changed since then and as a result of regeneration by the local authority and their partners, there is a real air of positive change in Stoke-on-Trent, the city that is changing rapidly.
Home to 240,000 people, the city affectionately known as 'The Potteries', has been transformed, with millions of pounds invested to revitalise and improve all aspects of life in the city.
