Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: South of France - Monaco
Salary: Depending on experience

The purpose of the role is to:

Provide direction primarily on all matters of an electrical nature to operational line management, all Marine Units and to other divisions of the Company. Secondarily to assist the Instrument / Control Systems discipline engineers as and when necessary.

The person:

Engineering qualification in Electrical Technology. Minimum of 10 years in the Marine and/or Production plant industry preferably with some FPSO/FSO experience in respect of electrical.

Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical direction to FSO / FPSO's and Shore Bases as and when required and to provide practical assistance to the units as and when requested, subject to workload priorities.
• Perform electrical and certified equipment technical audits on board the Marine Units of equipment condition, maintenance effectiveness and fitness for purpose.
• Provide further development on all matters of electrical nature with Classification Societies and subcontractors, as directed.
• Coordinate and manage design change requests for electrical modifications, repairs and overhauls and to supervise/direct execution of the work as required.
• Participate in Hazard Operability and Reliability studies and assist in the formulation of maintenance strategies
• Develop the maintenance and updating of the Electrical Competency Register and to undertake appropriate level assessments.
• Provide technical input to new project philosophies and equipment specifications.
