Training & Development

All new employees attend a half day multidisciplinary Induction course within their first few weeks to give them a general introduction to the Trust, Induction to your department will be organised by your manager.

The Trust makes a significant investment in the education, training and development of staff on an annual basis.  It aims to provide all staff with a diverse range of opportunities to achieve both work related and personal development objectives. The Trust, in line with current trends, is investing in the provision of some on-line learning programmes for staff. 

Learning opportunities supported by the Trust include:

  • Work based learning;
  • Technology based learning;
  • In-house training to meet statutory requirements;
  • In-house training for clinical and non-clinical skills development;
  • Access to Further Education programmes;
