Description:
This is a role where you are expected to contact potential new
customers by telephone in order to quote and to sell our Motor Insurance
policy, breakdown and legal cover.
You will contact these customers usually a month before their renewal
date. We need advisors that can use their sales skills to ‘tempt’
the customers away from their existing insurer by overcoming objections
and by offering savings and increased insurance cover for their
vehicles.
Your Team Manager will ensure that you are supported and developed
in the role through coaching and motivation to ensure you gain the
required skills and that targets are met or exceeded by identifying
your strengths and development areas.

Bonus is calculated at £10 per sale for all sales made over
the minimum requirement of 50, coupled with the add-on and compliance
target. The average advisor currently makes 80 sales per month which
would equal a monthly bonus payment of £300.
What are we looking for?:
This role is all about hunger and desire to achieve. You will find
that you have to be very thick skinned in order to deal with the
amount of rejection in the role as your customers will initially
say ‘NO’. If you have a passion to sell and enjoy the
satisfaction of turning customers around, this is a role that would
suit you. You must be able to be frank and direct with your customers
to close sales effectively. You only have one chance to convert
a call to a sale so persistence is a must!
This can be a financially rewarding role with an open-ended commission
scheme which allows you to earn generous monthly bonuses. The more
effort you put in, the more you will earn.
