An exciting opportunity had arisen to join Peabody as the Head of Facilities. The purpose of the role is to manage the efficient cost effective delivery of a full range of compliant multi-sourced Facilities Management services that are aligned to business requirements, across all the Peabody Trusts Head Office accommodation. Additionally, you will have operational responsibility for 7 staff in the FM team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the provision of cost effective and compliant hard and soft facilities across the Trusts Corporate Office Accommodation.
  • Plan FM team activity and monitor performance against agreed SLA’s, to ensure a customer-focused approach.
  • Ensure relevant FM strategies are developed and appropriate policies, procedures and systems are in place to deliver high quality service.
  • Manage the departmental budgets in line with Trust procedures, and in line with procurement procedures ensure value for money by reviewing and implementing changes to FM contracts where appropriate.
  • Review Head Office space requirements, undertake strategic space planning and project managing office moves, refurbishments, redesigns and relocations.

To succeed in this high profile role, you will need extensive experience of leadership in a complex FM multi-sited environment. Particular skills include demonstrable experience of developing and implementing business focused FM strategies with experience of embedding FM change through business analysis and process redesign, and Experience of setting and managing budgets, cost control, and FM procurement and purchasing. Experience of managing staff and the ability to communicate effectively and to influence all areas of the business is paramount. Specific qualifications include NEBOSH/IOSH and BIFM membership.
