Norwich is a very exciting place to be! The City is thriving and the Council is playing a key part in the regeneration and development of the City, improving services and creating a new culture and climate of change. We have successfully persuaded the government to initiate a boundary review to establish a 'Greater Norwich unitary council', creating tremendous opportunities for the future. Our Leadership team is designed to help Norwich play a strategic role regionally and within the City, shaping up and strengthening its services for the benefit of all our citizens.

Norwich faces a challenging growth agenda, a challenge that we embrace and one we are rising to. Alongside this we also have people living in the City in significant levels of deprivation and it is a key challenge for us to make sure that everybody in the city benefits from the exciting opportunities ahead.
