About The School

Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College is a Warwickshire County Council mixed comprehensive school. It is a large 11-18 school that serves the town of Bedworth and the villages of Bulkington, Burton Hastings, Wolvey, Shilton, Barnacle and Ansty. However, students are also enrolled from Nuneaton and Coventry.

Named after Nicholas Chamberlaine (1632-1715), a local benefactor and a prominent figure in the history of Bedworth, Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College is the only school in Nuneaton and Bedworth that provides secondary education to the age of 18. We provide a full range of learning activities within and beyond the National Curriculum and are working successfully to meet the rapid changes that are taking place within education.

Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College is a vibrant, exciting and innovative place in which to learn. Although a big school, we know all of our students and there exists a very real sense of community. The school is purposeful and friendly and relationships between staff and students are good. In this environment children are given a chance to grow and achieve success; we feel strongly that every child really does matter and that 'Excellence Opens All Doors'.

Our students enjoy coming to the school and both staff and students take pride in our excellent relationships with the wider community and, in particular, with our parents and carers.
