You will be joining WCHS, the independent provider service arm of NHS Wiltshire at a crucial time in its development. We have embarked upon a journey that will see significant improvements to the infrastructure of the estates and facilities operations, these will impact dramatically upon the way our local population accesses and receives community based care. Our business plan (click for link) will transform both the way we deliver community health services along with the estates and facilities infrastructure. The clear objective is to provide our clinicians and allied health professionals with the very best setting from which they can deliver the right high quality clinical care, at the right time, every time. This means you will work closely with our staff, partner organisations and the communities we serve, to maximise patient access.
As a commissioner, NHS Wiltshire spends around £610million per annum on healthcare provision for a population of around 440,000 local residents. As a provider of community health services, WCHS;
Dennis Bridges the current post holder will retire in June of this year. Dennis has built a high performing team, which you can develop further to ensure the increased future demands on our services are met. Your team comprises 260 staff (164 whole time equivalent), which includes 5 direct reports, a detailed organisation chart is available in the accompanying literature.
