In September 2007 Futures Community College in Southend on Sea, Essex, became one of the first Trust schools in the UK. The 2010 exam results were the best in the history of the college, with CVA of 1006.3, 50% achieving 5 A*-C GCSEs and 31% achieving 5 A*-C GCSEs with English and Maths.

The college has benefited from a multi million pound building programme that has seen the opening of the iconic “Upper College Building” in 2010.  The new building houses unrivalled accommodation for vocational courses, including brick laying, carpentry & joinery, painting and decorating and hair & beauty alongside academic subjects. Learners are following a range of courses and qualifications including the large and very successful apprenticeship programme alongside other post-16 and 14-16 provision.
