Our mission statement “Learning Transforms Lives” is the belief we have in our educational philosophy.  We want all our students to value being good learners as they develop an understanding of how powerful knowledge can be.  To become independent and confident young people who have enquiring minds and self-motivation to succeed.

Fullhurst Community College is not only about to move into new buildings fit for education in the 21st Century but is evolving as a new and exciting place to be.  Our students are going to have a voice in our development at the centre of our community.

We believe in equality of opportunity and high aspirations for all our students.  We want every young person to feel cared for, supported and guided to achieve his or her full potential whatever that may be.  Students who have special educational needs are catered for through a dedicated team of well-trained support staff and our more able students will be stretched and fast tracked where appropriate to achieve at the best rate for them as individuals.  We are developing a personalised curriculum for all our students and through partnership with parents, we believe all students will succeed.

To achieve our mission of “Learning Transforms Lives” we recognise that teachers and support staff are absolutely crucial.  Their well being, motivation and professional development are central to our aspiration to raise standards for all our students.  We will, therefore, provide imaginative, exciting and challenging professional development opportunities in particular with the National College of School Leadership, a National Leader in Education and Institutes of Higher Education high quality teaching which will provide opportunities for quality learning leading to outstanding academic and personal achievements.
