To support this drive for success, ConstructionSkills has an excellent opportunity for an Applications Developer to design, develop and provide ConstructionSkills ICT Applications, including software, databases, data warehouses and interfaces. With the assistance of colleagues you will review, develop and define requirements for new changes to existing information systems.You will be required to carry out comprehensive impact assessments and produce detailed functional, system and test specifications.
You will also Develop and maintain documentation for systems managed by the team including standard operating procedures and processes, disaster recovery, unit and system test plans, system, user and training documentation.
Your recent work history will include a track record in Applications Development, operational experience in software design and development, database architecture and systems/business analysis. Technically you will have a strong array of skills and experience in the following areas:
In addition to these skills, any application development accreditations such as MCSD or MCAD would be highly advantageous, as would any experience of AJAX or OO Design and build.
