Our Sectors
Customer Services & Sales
There are six key roles in the Sales portfolio, operating in different sales and product channels, including raw ingredients suppliers, third party logistics service providers and wholesalers, major retailers and other distributors:
- Value Chain Manager
- Business Development Manager
- National Sales Manager
- Area Sales Manager
- Sales/Telesales Executive
- Sales Implementation Specialist
Value Chain Manager - works closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Service colleagues, to help existing and potential customers to understand the full costs of their existing operation and therefore the potential for CHEP to add value to their business.
Business Development Manager - develops new business in line with the company strategy in designated markets (countries/channels) where CHEP has less than a significant share of the domestic market in large pallets and other products.
National Sales Manager - delivers revenue growth through the conversion of new accounts in markets where CHEP has a credible market share, and in line with the company commercial policy and strategic plan.
Area Sales Manager - converts new business in line with company commercial policy and targets, and is tasked with improving the efficiency and productivity of the sales team; works closely with all other functions to maximise all growth opportunities and re-enforce CHEP’s ownership of its products.
Sales/Telesales Executive – converts smaller accounts in mature markets, including those already receiving CHEP equipment from other pool participants.
Sales Implementation Specialist – supports new customers to ensure that CHEP’s processes and systems are aligned with their own; executes changes in service offers as required by customers; implements new and innovative control mechanisms in complex customer distribution circuits.
