I am delighted that you are interested in a job opportunity at Broadway School. I believe our school is the best kept secret in Birmingham and would encourage any potential applicant to come and visit us. As Ofsted 2005 said, “It is a haven”. I am sure that like I did, when I was appointed last year, you will be able to see it’s potential.
Broadway is an improving community school that has a harmonious and collective team spirit. The students are the strength of the school. They are positive and courteous and respond well to good teaching. The teachers at Broadway really do enjoy working here. We have a strong ‘team’ ethos, the relationships between staff and students are excellent and the climate is one of mutual support.
Our aim is simple, we want to become excellent. By this we mean all our students will exceed their potential and become valuable and well rounded members of society. To achieve this we have to keep focused on our core purpose of improving the quality of education we provide. In order to achieve this we need staff who are student centred, have a passion for their subject and want to make a difference to the lives of students in the inner city. If that is you, you will be given all the support and opportunities required to help you fulfil your aims and ambitions.
I look forward to hearing from you.
