rental business in the UK and are engaged in
bus and coach distribution. Transcare Solutions
Ltd is the in-house claims handling organisation
of Arriva plc and is currently seeking Claims
Handlers.
The duties of the post holders
will include dealing with claims for the UK
businesses arising from all aspects of its running
including Motor, Employer Liability (EL), Personal
Liability (PL) and Material Damage. The majority
of claims arise from use of passenger transport
and it is therefore imperative all applicants
have a thorough knowledge of RTA claims handling
and the appropriate case law. Claims handlers
will also be responsible for the proactive pursuit
of recovery costs relating to own damage.
Successful applicants should
have 2-3 years’ experience of motor third party
injury and liability claims handling. EL or
PL experience would also be an advantage. You
should be an organised and methodical person
with a high degree of adaptability. A good telephone
manner is essential as is an ability to organise
your own workload and work together with the
team to provide a better service to your customers.
As the post holders will be required to use
a number of computer packages you should be
computer literate and familiar with using Microsoft
Office.
