Appleton Academy is currently a 3-16, all-through academy, with the potential of a sixth form in 2010, sponsored by Bradford College.  The Academy is a unique educational development not only for Bradford but nationally.  It is the first school in the country where early years, primary, further and higher education expertise and skills all come together in one school.

Appleton Academy is currently operating on a primary and secondary site.  However, the next exciting stage of the Academy’s development is a new purpose built all-through academy on a green belt site.  The new building, which will be completed in the academic year 2011-2012, will maximise the potential of our innovative all-through provision and at the same time make best use of our wonderful environment.

The academy will make a real difference to the education and well being of our community throughout their lives and be truly a place of life long learning.
